The Vitrine Series.

The etchings and aquatints below are part of a collection of works, all 20cm x 20cm, entitled ' The Vitrine Series '.

They are influenced by the idea of dark showcases, displaying various likely and unlikely specimens. There is also a suggestion of a ray of light permeating the gloom. The specimens range from objects traditionally found in display cases to the contrary or contradictory.
